~Blog stage 8

https://nezyusgov.blogspot.com/2016/12/educational-system.html
Vanessa,
I very much agree with you on the fact that education is extremely beneficial and absolutely important. I don't think many realize how much school and education actually impacts our lives. Also, I see where you are coming from when you mention that the graduation rate is so high. I recall some individuals who rarely showed up to school never put in any forth effort and yet still ended up walking across the stage without an issue. A lot does have to do with the small pay teachers all across receive, not speaking for everyone of them but some just might be more motivated about their job if the pay was a little better. Quite honestly high school did not prepare me at all for college. I do agree on your statement, the government should invest more of their time on education. I also think that everybody should be equally recognized not only the fortunate ones. Education has and will always dominate the world!

Massive deportation

"I will build a great wall---and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me---and I'll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words."-President Donald Trump
After Donald Trump got elected as president of the U.S, so many are now living in fear of potential deportation. Massive deportation is known to be one of his main priorities and concerns. Trump also mentioned even eliminating the DACA program that was issued to immigrant kids who arrived before 16 years of age which allows them to renew a 2 year temporary work permit. Although not much has been said after the election regarding the immigration topic, my Mexican community is absolutely shattered and anxious to hear for the answer that could potential change our lives forever. What will happen to the millions of undocumented immigrants? Can Trump mandate and carry out such an atrocity all by himself? Those that have been raised in the U.S their whole life could be running the risk of going back to an unfamiliar country that they do not have the slightest clue about. Considering the many broken families that will be left behind by the idea of massive deportation. The protesting has initiated since Trump's victory, we must be heard.

Epiphany, I will like to say overall the statement that you made was very well written and definitely sincere. I do respect the fact that you are able to actually see the discrimination issue that we face as a country, I myself can relate to the occurrence due to also being Mexican. I think it is just inhumane for somebody to use such words like the ones you quoted, I am disgusted and heartbroken at the same time for the humiliation that you had to witness. I can totally empathize with your friend and the chaos he had to be faced with. I really admire you sharing your story and recognizing the bigger image.
I also agree with you on your comment made about Donald Trump, he has always labeled minorities. After the election, we can only wait to see the outcome of such atrocity. In my opinion, we need more individuals with a perspective such as yours. You truly showed courage and maturity with your opinions!

How did the U.S get to the point where it is at this current moment? A high percentage of the U.S population supports the Republican party, Donald Trump. He has been compared to individuals such as Adolf Hitler yet he has an extensive amount of supporters who are more than impressed with his perspective about "Making America Great Again". Trump has been quoted several times on insults targeting women and minorities. Does America really expect a positive impact and change from someone who is always faced with a new allegation? How can an entire country be willing to be controlled by a man without an actual plan? Once elected, there is no turning back to change your decision, it is final for another 4 years. No, I do not think Donald Trump should be the next U.S president. America will never be the same anymore if the Republican party were to win this upcoming election. "58% of your youth is unemployed" he said when referring to African Americans, which in reality is not true as stats show otherwise. He also mentioned how Mexico sends over rapists and criminals, he has mentioned mass deportation since announcing his presidential career. Actions speak much louder than words, Trump keeps promising an ideal country which might be the reason many Americans are devoting themselves to electing him. Again, America is known for being one of the "best" countries all around, Trump will be portraying the absolute opposite of best. Time to chose sides, who is America relying on this time around? Let's make a wise and fully thought out decision.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/09/15/opinions/cool-kids-choose-clinton-kohn/index.html

In this particular article, the author Douglas Cox explains the controversy of democratic party nominee Hillary Clinton being involved with potentially deleting evidence from emails and so forth. He mentions all the assumptions and possibilities Hillary Clinton may have been involved in. The type of evidence the author is aiming at is definitely one who is on the verge of voting this upcoming year, his article might of discouraged many potential voters for Hillary Clinton. He targets a public that is currently informed about the current nominee. Cox clearly said and emphasized, "Clinton's actions raise reasonable concerns about her views on transparency and good government". Although the author has a well backed up story consisting of facts to support his allegation, I disagree with him due to the matter that he automatically refers to her getting rid of her emails as a criminal act. In my opinion, everybody deserves privacy and despite the accusations of her deleting those emails, there was not enough evidence to prove that she actually committed a crime. In that case, I believe that if Hillary took it upon herself to delete the emails, at the end of the day the FBI came up with the conclusion that they were not able to charge her with anything. The author chose the right set of words and a very professional structured way to express himself in his article. Even though many might not agree with him opinionated article like myself, I must recognize his concern towards Hillary Clinton.

Published on February 18, 2011, CNN wrote an article called Could the U.S government shut down?

I think the article is definitely worth reading because it is not too complex to understand although it is discussing politics. It emphasizes a great problem that America faces today, how it gives or spends more money than it actually has or brings in as a country. The article also expresses the concern for eliminating debt in the U.S, how the Republicans want to come to a conclusion on debt. Although it is a brief and short article, it hit many key points on U.S budgeting and working on narrowing the problem.
